Pantagleize Theatre Co. presents an evening of romantic comedies by master playwright Anton Chekhov. And you thought he wasn’t funny? Two flawed people, who have not been so lucky in love, unexpectedly find it, to the delight of everybody—except Toby, the horse-- in “The Brute.” And witness a pretty forthright proposal, if you can get past the quarreling, in “The Marriage Proposal.” And finally, attend a typical Russian wedding in “The Wedding Reception.” The trio opens on Valentine Night, when Pantagleize will make it special for your special someone with a delicious dessert, beverages, and roses. It runs for three more weekends, Fridays and Saturdays at 8; Sunday matinees at 3. Sundays at Pantagleize are special, too, for intermission tea time. Admission is $20 for Fridays and Saturdays, $18 for matinees, and $40 for the Valentine Night package.
